Happy New Year to all!! Boy oh boy oh boy. We have got a winner on our hands this month on SPICE XCESS. Occasionally we get a film that literally blows us away and reminds us exactly how good porn is supposed to be made. January marks the arrival of one such film. BOOTY LOVIN’ is about as perfect as adult film can get. The cast is ravishing, the action is head spinning, the costumes delicious and the locations are upscale. This near perfect masterpiece features a cast sure to impress anyone in the know. The list includes: German dynamo Annette Schwartz, Adriana Amante, Hannah West, Jada Fire, Jenny Hendrix, Mariah Milano, and Misti Love. If it sounds as if we are hyping this film up as perhaps the best movie of the year you would be right. Annette Schwartz dons a Girl Scout outfit and sells cookies door to door. Hannah wears a French maid outfit and cleans more than the windows. Mariah is tough on crime as a policewoman. Jenny Hendrix steps into the boxing ring and shows she is not only a knockout out of the ring but in it as well. BOOTY LOVIN’ is directed by Erik Everhard who has been putting out some of the very best material the industry has to offer over the last several years. His 10-plus years as a performer has served him well and obviously provided him with uncanny insight on how to make things sizzle onscreen. This homage to the female backside is in our top ten films of the last few years. AVN also agrees and has nominated this film for “Best Gonzo” release for 2009. Take our word for it folks, this film is NOT to be missed. BOOTY LOVIN’ premieres Saturday January 10 at 11PM Eastern. The list of winners keeps rolling along in January. ASIANS LOVE BLACKS is the 2007 AVN award winning film for “Best Ethnic Themed Release.” David Aaron Clark directs this tale of a streetwalker (Asia) who sashays into an urban grindhouse movie theater. As the movie begins Asia watches the hardboiled tale of a sax player (Dick James) & his ripe young Vietnamese squeeze (Tia Tanaka) chasing fame. When a ruthless club owner turns her out, the anguished jazzman seeks vengeance. Little does Asia or the rest of the movie goers realize that the action is about to leap from the screen and enter reality itself. David Aaron Clark masterfully uses the genre of noir cinema to shade this tale of intrigue. The look is old school, and is chock full of dark shadows, street lights and dirty streets all providing the backdrop for this entertaining story. ASIANS LOVE BLACKS is an engrossing tale of revenge, murder, mystery and of course pulse pounding sex. Don’t miss the world premiere Friday January 2, 11PM Eastern and all throughout January. It’s not very often that FRESH! mentions the work of a male performer. Not that we don’t think they are important. On the contrary, male co-stars are often responsible for the reason why a scene succeeds or fails. And now a brief history lesson from Fresh! TV. No No this wont be some boring lecture on the war of 1812. This is about somethig we all actually care about…chiefly adult cinema. Just a short few years ago, the adult industry was besieged with Euro girls coming from across the pond. The influence of this massive influx of new talent changed the industry in profound ways. All of a sudden places like Czech Republic, Prague, and former The Soviet Union seemed like a goldrush of untapped potential. Many of these earlier arrivals have gone on to have not only lucrative careers but have become staples of the adult world. Names like Katja Kassin, Laura Angel, Sandra Romaine, Sophie Evans, Vivid Girl Dasha, Silvia Saint, Monica Sweetheart and numerous others began to crop up in a staggering amount of films. AVN wrote stories on this new wave of Euro talent and it was often described as an “invasion.” The influence that these new arrivals created a notable shift away from the previous boom of couples oriented films to more hardcore gonzo efforts. What seemed to be a common theme amoung these fresh starlets was not only the fact that so many of them seemed too hot for porn, but their willingness to do anything onscreeen became strikingly obvious.
